About

Jack Andrews

I'm a Master's student in Computer Science at , specializing in software engineering and augmented reality. This past summer, I was a Software Engineering Intern at , where I built application-layer frameworks and backend components for the Apple Online Store. Before that, I worked as a Software Engineering Enterprise Architecture Intern at , developing TypeScript and Java applications to optimize backend workflows and streamline access to distributed PostgreSQL databases. As a Software Engineering Intern at , I created dynamic service mocking tools and modular workflow systems to support high-availability backend operations. I also interned at , where I built simulation tooling, integrated gRPC streaming, and enhanced the F-16 avionics software platform. Alongside my industry roles, I serve as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Tech’s Immersive Visualization & Interaction Lab, developing real-time XR applications, integrating custom hardware sensors with Unity, and designing interactive experiences. My goal is to leverage my academic background, XR research, and diverse engineering experience to design and deliver impactful, high-performance software systems.
